Saint Jean Cap Ferrat

For a peaceful and picturesque day trip, take the number 15 bus along the coast, which stops at Villefrance-sur-Mer, Plage de Passable and Plage des Fourmis - all of which are worth visiting. 

But the cherry on the top of the peninsula is Saint Jean Cap Ferrat - a beautiful Mediterranean village with stunning views of the sea and French Riviera coastline. 

The coastal path follows the limestone cliffs around the peninsula, providing breathtaking views all around. The circular route starting at Saint Jean Cap Ferrat takes around 2 hours and is 6km, and you can even finish it with a dip in the crystal sea at Plage de Passable. 

Another gem on Cap Ferrat is Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild - a beautiful mansion surrounded by pretty gardens which is open to visitors everyday from 10am-6pm.
